By 1:45 pm, meet at the Ross Bay Cemetery Entrance, 1495 Fairfield Road across from Stannard Ave. At this entrance is the recently installed Memorial Gate.
This year there will be a special tribute given by Captain (Ret’d) D.L. Gibson, MMM, CD; one of our members and a member of the Last Post Fund. She will be honoring Richard Stokes (1835-1885), Private, Victoria Pioneer Rifle Corps. A new grave marker was just installed on November 10, 2023.
In the summer of 2023 the Society received funding to restore up to 9 grave markers. The project is ongoing, however a few of the grave markers that have been restored will be visited as part of this tour.

We understand that this may be a popular time to exercise your canine buddies, however the cemetery has a NO DOGS POLICY.
