We provide educational and social activities and when you become actively involved there are opportunities to develop your interests, talents, and skills.

In 3 easy steps you can apply for membership in the BC Black History Awareness Society.
Please note: This is an application for membership. Applications are reviewed by the Board. You will be notified by the President or designate when your application for membership has been accepted. The membership fee must be submitted at the time of application.
Step 1: Read the BCBHAS Purpose/Mandate and the BCBHAS Bylaws.
Step 2: Pay the membership fee.
Online: Click on “Donate” to pay using PayPal with any Visa, MasterCard, Amex or Discover credit card or with a Visa debit card.
By cheque or money order: Make cheque/order payable to the BC Black History Awareness Society; mail to: BC Black History Awareness Society Membership, 300 Linden Ave., Victoria, B.C.,V8V 4E7.
The membership is annual.
The membership fee is due each year on or before January 31st.
Fees are not pro-rated should you decide to join after January 31st.
