Senger Family Bursary for Black Students
Tina Senger and the BC Black History Awareness Society have established the bursary as an annual fund to ease economic hardship of attendance at university. The Senger Family Bursary assists selected meritorious students who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents with demonstrated financial need and who are or will be enrolled full-time in an accredited undergraduate bachelor’s degree program in the Greater Vancouver Area.

- Download the approved form OR application forms can also be requested from bursary@bcblackhistory.ca
- Submit your completed application to bursary@bcblackhistory.ca
- The application deadline is May 1, 2026 for a fall 2026 award.
