AND BCBHAS is honored to have Louise Rose, herself an icon, elder and mentor; to help us pay tribute to and celebrate our elders and mentors.
Louise Rose was born in Norristown, Pennsylvania; she has made Victoria her home since the 1970’s and we have loved her voice and the joy and passion she brings to every performance ever since. She is a pianist, vocalist, and actress; was formally trained in piano, organ, voice, conducting and arranging. Her teachers have included Oscar Peterson, Duke Ellington and Leonard Bernstein.
