 d - There were 12 soldiers who enlisted in BC and most served with the Bat
 talion overseas\, four were born in BC\; the others had moved here before 
 the war from other parts of Canada\, the United States\, the Caribbean\, a
 nd Europe.  We've developed a unique website that details their individua
 l war service\, the operational history for the Battalion from when they s
 ailed to England in March 1917\, served in France\, and returned to Canada
