Join BCBHAS President Silvia Mangue and BCBHAS Board Members for the launch of Black History Month 2023.
This will be a great start to learn more about the diversity of stories of Black people in BC. The newcomers were skilled bakers, business owners, carpenters, masons, tailors, teachers; they became property owners, business owners, politicians, and achieved many “firsts”.
You will hear about the Black History Month 2023 events, enjoy authentic Caribbean food, and love the music of performer and songwriter Caleb Hart.

CALEB grew up in the twin island nation of Trinidad and Tobago; performer and songwriter Caleb Hart fell in love with a wide variety of music: Gospel, Soul, Pop, Rock, Calypso, Soca and more than anything Reggae. Hart is committed to reaching as many people as possible with a message of hope, unity, and love. He has been taking his music across Canada, The Caribbean, Australia, USA and New Zealand since 2012, racking up over 800 shows releasing 5 records, 9 singles, and winning prestigious awards from Edmonton Folk Fest, the Western Canadian Music Awards and more.
Catered by “STIR IT UP” authentic Caribbean soul food
